We will contact you shortly.
Every client and every concern is unique. I want to get to know the unique you, so that we can work well together and I can use approaches that suit your specific needs.
I believe that trauma, whether it seems big or small to you, is at the root of most mental health difficulties. Instead of behavior or symptoms, I look at how and why your coping skills helped you survive in the past. Then we move forward together.
I use therapeutic approaches that are backed by research and experience, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, EMDR, and Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy.
I'm not going to tell you what to do, nor am I just going to be a blank sounding board. I want us to work together and be partners in the therapeutic process. We will co-create goals and work toward them.
I have provided therapeutic care in psychiatric hospitals, schools, universities, community-based settings for both mental health and substance use, emergency rooms, and private practice. All of those experiences have helped shape how I work today.
I believe that our thoughts, feelings, bodies, and spirits are all intricately connected. I will ask you to pay attention to your whole self, and will offer support and collaboration for you to do that.
If you have any questions about my services or would like to schedule a session, feel free to contact me. I will get in touch with you within one business day per my schedule below.
