EMDR Intensive Details and Pricing
Initial Appointments
I require you to first schedule a 60 minute intake assessment, so we can discuss your history, needs, and make a plan for the intensive. You can use your insurance benefits for this appointment if I'm in network with your plan. If you're paying privately, the rate is $150.
Intensive Sessions
Each intensive session is 4 hours long. 1st intensive day: $1200Any subsequent intensive: $800
Follow Up Sessions
It is often beneficial to schedule a 60 minute follow up session a few weeks after your intensive to support long-term progress, integration, and next steps. Just like the intake session, these are "normal" therapy sessions that can be billed to insurance, or $150 out of pocket.
Travel Weekend
Three 4 hour EMDR sessions, scheduled on a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday back to back. If you're in a state where I'm licensed (CO, WA, UT, NV, MA, or FL), but outside the Denver Metro, I'll travel to your local area and coordinate a weekend intensive! $4500
Location Options
You can do your intensive at my office in Westminster, Colorado, virtually throughout any of my states of licensure, or in your city as a travel intensive.
10% Off for Helping Professionals
10% off for mental health professionals, first responders, active military service members and spouses, law enforcement, educators, and healthcare professionals. Thank you for all you do.
1. Do you accept insurance for intensives?
Intensives are generally not billable to any insurance, as there is no procedure code for them. If I'm in network with your plan, I can bill your insurance for the intake appointment, the preparation appointment, and the follow-up session, as those are all billed as regular therapy appointments. You may have a copay, coinsurance, or deductible. My billing team can help you understand potential costs prior to committing to an intensive.
I am in network with the following commercial plans in all of my states of licensure unless the state is specified below:

2. Where are you licensed again?
I am licensed in Colorado, Florida, Massachusetts, Nevada, Utah, and Washington. I can do intensives with residents in any of these states virtually. If you'd like an in person intensive, my office is in Thornton, Colorado.
If you're interested in an in-person experience, but do not live in the Denver Metro, let's talk about doing the 3 day weekend!
3. Can I combine the intensive EMDR sessions into one long day?
I have intensives set up in 4 hour blocks intentionally, as I have found that going much beyond that in one day is mentally and emotionally draining for both clients and me. I want to make sure that you are in the best headspace possible to absorb everything you are learning and processing during the intensive.
4. Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, I offer payment plans through Care Credit.
5. Do I need to buy tappers for my virtual intensive?
If you want them just for the intensive, you can rent a pair from me. If you'd like to buy a pair for ongoing use, these are the ones that connect to the virtual EMDR program I use.
